As a result of COVID-19 and a sudden increase in demand for PC’s due to remote working, the computer market has hit an all time high sales record. In addition to this, the supply chain is severely impacted by the pandemic, as manufacturers are not able to produce the quantities of parts that they would otherwise be able to. This being said, the increase in demand in combination with impacted manufacturing is causing severe delays and worldwide component shortages.
The United States tariff has been extended on all items shipping from China, including computer parts. China, being the leader of virtually all parts needed to build your PC, along with the component shortage has created universal price increases on nearly all computer components.
As of late, crypto currencies have hit a record high, resulting in miners mass purchasing any and all graphics cards they can get their hands on. This has resulted in an increase in the price of GPU’s for both new and used components.
Due to the extreme delays inflicted upon the computer hardware industry, our current ESTIMATED processing time is 9-15 business days, with an additional 5 weeks on top of that period in extreme COVID-19 related delays that are simply out of our control for the time being. We thank you for your continued patience with us, given the circumstances that the pandemic has created on our industry.
In order to get your gaming PC to you as quickly as possible, we have increased our allocated budget for parts to ensure that we are able to rapidly obtain the components we need for your order. Some parts are being produced in much lower quantities than others, which may result in delays, but nonetheless, we are doing everything in our power to ensure that we are in search of and ordering new parts around the clock. Upon receiving our parts, we are building and shipping out orders immediately.
Although we are not able to determine when exactly things will improve and return to normal due to the continued unpredictability caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as things begin to improve and supply chains start to regulate, the supply will increase and we will be able to get your order to you at optimal speed. Despite the current events and unprecedented times, we remain optimistic and hopeful that things will surely improve.
